My name is Ivan Boden and I am a photographer based in the New Jersey, New York metropolitan area. I have photographed in theater and performing arts for nearly a decade and currently specialize in commercial, editorial, lifestyle, product, brand and corporate assignments. I also photograph families, weddings, engagements, quinceaneras, head shots and more.
As a former creative director, I have worked with and art directed photographers throughout my career, from advertisement and marketing campaigns, to publications, display graphics, annual reports and more. Those years of experience have afforded me with a unique vantage point for my photography. Along with a designer’s vision, I understands the needs, protocols and challenges that art directors and marketing professionals face in corporate and agency life each day.

Ivan is co-founder of an all-volunteer non profit organization called Smiles Are Free. Their mission, to give back to the community through photography. They arrange free portrait sessions for families that might be struggling due to economy, illness or circumstance. Giving back to the community is a privilege and Ivan continues to be involved, either through his photography or devoting time to help others in need.
