NY City firefighters don their bikes, leather jackets and chaps for an invited visit to the new warship, USS New York. Their bikes lined the street along the Hudson River, near Pier 89. Not far from the USS Intrepid, now a museum.

They were pleased to have their photo's taken, and were the nicest bunch of folks you could ever meet.

NY City firefighters are heroes.
